Reliance acquires stake in Naturedge to foray into healthy beverage space

THE FMCG arm of Reliance Industries, Reliance Consumer Products (RCPL), announced on Monday they are foraying into the fast-growing healthy functional beverage space with acquisition of a majority stake in a joint venture with Naturedge Beverages.
RCPL said this JV is focused on offering consumers a range of herbal-natural beverages, enhancing its presence as total beverage company. Founded in 2018 by Siddhesh Sharma, an entrepreneur from manufacturers of Ayurvedic products - the Baidyanath Group, Naturedge focuses on solutions that blend benefits of Ayurveda and beverage choices.
