Cop Gets Anticipatory Bail in Dowry Harassment Case

The principal district and sessions court in Madurai on Wednesday granted anticipatory bail to a suspended police inspector and his wife in connection with a dowry harassment case filed by their daughter-in-law.
V Senthilkumaran, an inspector from Virudhunagar, and his wife Vijaya, son Boopalan, and daughter Anitha were booked under Sections 296(b), 49, 115(2), 351(3), 85, and 109 of the BNS and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act last week.
