Uproar over Ajit minister's 'role' in Beed murder

MAHARASHTRA deputy CM Ajit Pawar on Monday held a crucial meeting with his party colleague and minister Dhananjay Munde as pressure mounted on him to sack the latter over his alleged links with Walmik Karad, the Massajog Sarpanch murder mastermind. The two leaders reportedly discussed the fallout of the murder case.
Besides, legislators across party lines press Pawar to seek Munde's resignation. The state government has already constituted a special investigation team (SIT) to probe the murder of Sarpanch Deshmukh.
