Koppal rape case: Justice Patil stresses need to enhance women's safety

KARNATAKA Land Grabbing Prohibition Special Courts chairman Justice B A Patil stressed the need to enhance protection for women to prevent recent incidents like the sexual assault on two women including a foreigner in Koppal district.
Speaking during a day-long national conference on 'Relevance of Human Rights in the Contemporary Era--New Challenges' organised by the SBRR Mahajana Law College on Saturday, Justice Patil said there is a need for immediate protection of human rights especially for women who are subject to various violence.
