RAJYA Sabha on Tuesday witnessed an uproar over Leader of the Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge's alleged derogatory remark during a debate on the contentious National Education Policy (NEP).
Members of ruling party BJP raised objections over Kharge's remarks claiming that they were directed towards the chairperson, but the Congress president clarified that it was directed at the policies of the government.
However, the LoP expressed regret for his remarks, which loosely translated to "knock someone out". It was later expunged from the records.
