Public meeting on Sept 9 to condemn disruptions to religious events

A Dharma Raksha Yatra organised by former DyCM K S Eshwarappa condemning alleged propaganda reached Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala on Tuesday.

More than 1,500 devotees in over 200 vehicles arrived in the jatha. Eshwarappa was felicitated by the temple administration.

He said that holy water from Tunga, Ganga and Nethravathi rivers has been sprinkled on Dharmasthala and purified it. "We have sprinkled it on roads and purified them. If these conspirators were arrested at the beginning itself, this issue would not have escalated to this level. Now truth is coming out through their own mouths. The government should have taken swift action. Foreign funding has come and anti-nationals have joined their hands. Because of SIT, lot of information is coming out and I thank them. Can anyone find a body in 18 ft deep? The case must be handed over to the NIA. MD Sameer has links with SDPI," he alleged.
