KODAGU will witness a month of sports activities and frolic gatherings as the festival of 'Kail Poldh' is being observed with fervour.
KODAGU will witness a month of sports activities and frolic gatherings as the festival of 'Kail Poldh' is being observed with fervour. The festivity marks the end of the tedious agriculture activity and beginning of the fervour for a bountiful yield. The first of the 'Kail Poldh' festival is observed every year at Surlabbi 'naad' and the festivity later picks up pace in the different rural areas.
However, the entire district celebrates the festival on September 3 every year. The highlight of the festival is the worship to various agricultural equipment and the revered guns.
