Forum Urges Justice Nagamohan Das Panel to Get Empirical Data

The Confederation of SCs & STs Organisations has urged the Justice HN Nagamohan Das Commission to obtain empirical data on the representation of people belonging to 101 castes notified as SCs, in education and public services in Karnataka before submitting a report with suitable recommendations for internal reservation.
Speaking to media persons here on Thursday, confederation president Lolaksha said the panel must ensure equality of opportunity in matters of admissions to educational institutions and of public employment to each and every member of each caste among the 101 castes.
