The Border Security Force (BSF) on Saturday said it has "completely destroyed" a terrorist launchpad at Looni in Pakistan's Sialkot, which falls opposite Akhnoor sector in Jammu.

- Mukesh Ranjan @New Delhi

A spokesperson of the BSF said the measure was taken as a retaliation against unprovoked firing from across the international border from 9 pm on Friday.

"Our troops responded in a commensurate manner, causing widespread damage to the posts and assets of the Pakistan Rangers along the international border," he said, adding, "Our resolve to protect India's sovereignty is unshaken."
