Sebi Lifts Jane Street Ban After ₹4,844 Crore Escrow Deposit

CAPITAL markets regulator SEBI on Monday confirmed that Jane Street has been allowed to resume trading in India after the US-based derivative trading company deposited Rs 4,844 crore in an escrow account.
Sebi has directed Jane Street entities to refrain from any fraudulent, manipulative, or unfair trading practices. The firms have confirmed their commitment to full compliance. Stock exchanges have been instructed to monitor Jane Street's activities closely.
