'Most Maoist-affected' districts come down to six from 12: Shah

NOTING that 'Bharat' is determined to uproot Naxalism for good by March 31, 2026, Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday announced that the country has achieved a new milestone by significantly reducing the number of "most affected by Left-Wing Extremism" districts to six from 12.
He said, "Taking a stride towards building a Naxal-free Bharat, our nation achieved a new milestone by significantly reducing the number of districts most affected by left-wing extremism to 6 from 12. The Modi government is building a Sashakt, Surakshit and Samridh Bharat with a ruthless approach to Naxalism."
