A day before the Supreme Court is set to hear a batch of petitions challenging the Election Commission of India's decision to carry out a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar, the poll panel on Sunday said it has successfully completed the first phase of the exercise to collect enumeration forms.

The enumeration, which took place from June 24 to July 25, 2025, saw participation from over 7.24 crore electors of a total of 7.89 crore.
