BETH Mooney's unbeaten 96 from 59 balls followed by some clinical bowling effort helped Gujarat Giants beat UP Warriorz by 81 runs in the Women's Premier League game played at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Monday.
Chasing a target of 187, UP Warriorz lost four wickets in the powerplay with Kashvee Gautam and Deandra Dottin running through the top-order. When Grace Harris fell to Tanuja Kanwar, UP were down to 48/6. From thereon, they never recovered. In the end, they were all out for 105.
