Man held for assaulting, robbing co-passenger

KASABA police have arrested a 28-year-old youth for robbing money and mobile phone from a man after assaulting him in a moving bus in Kozhikode.
The accused is Ramshad of Paramapil Bazaar.
The incident took place on Sunday when the victim—Nishad, a native of Mankavu—was traveling in a bus named 'Sahir' plying on the Perumanna-Kozhikode route. Ramshad was sitting next to the victim in the back seat of the bus.
