In a latest incident related to drug abuse in the Malayalam film industry, two directors were arrested with ganja from an apartment in Kochi.
IN A latest incident related to drug abuse in the Malayalam film industry, two directors were arrested with ganja from an apartment in Kochi. Khalid Rahman, who directed the recent blockbuster Alappuzha Gymkhana, and Ashraf Hamza, the director of Thamaasha, were apprehended by the excise department with 1.5g of cannabis around 2.30 am on Sunday. One more person — Shalif Mujammed — was taken into custody along with the directors.
The arrests were made following a search based on confidential information.
