Ex-MLA Muhammadunni Haji passes away at 81

FORMER IUML MLA from Kondotty, K Muhammadunni Haji, 81, passed away on Saturday due to age-related illnesses. He died at a private hospital in Kondotty.
Haji was born on July 1, 1943, to Kodali Hassan and Pathu. He began his public life at a young age and held various positions, from panchayat member to MLA.
He was elected to the Legislative Assembly from Kondotty in both 2006 and 2011. Haji also served as the IUML Kondotty constituency secretary for 17 years.
He was a member of the Pookkottur panchayat for several years and served as its president for 14 years.
