Man Denied Bail in Suicide of Wife, Daughters

The Judicial First-Class Magistrate Court in Ettumanoor on Wednesday dismissed the bail plea submitted by Noby Lukose, 44, who was arrested by the police in connection with the suicide of his wife Shiny, 43, and their two daughters Aleena, 11, and Ivana, 10.
Noby, who is facing charges of abetment of suicide, has been sent to police custody for interrogation for three days by the court. The court agreed with the prosecution's argument that granting bail to Noby could lead to destruction of evidence.
