Internal bleeding due to head injury resulted in Biju's death: Autopsy report

THE PRIMARY postmortem report of Biju Joseph, 50, of Mulayinkal House, Thodupuzha, who was murdered by his business partner, stated internal bleeding due to head injury as his cause of death.

Though no injury inflicted using weapons was found on Biju's body, the brutal physical assault he had suffered inside the van when he was kidnapped from his house premises, reportedly resulted in Biju's death.

Biju was abducted and killed on March 20 by his business partner Jomon Joseph, 51, of Thekkumkattil House, Kalanthayani, and some goons, who then buried his body inside a manhole at Jomon's catering warehouse.

KAAPA case culprit Ashik Johnson, 27, a resident of Vadakkekara in Paravur, is the second accused in the case, while Jomon's driver Jomin Kurian, 25, of Kalarikkal House, Cherupuzha, and Muhammed Aslam, 36, of Pallath house, Edavanakkad, are the other accused.
