Southern Railway's New Institute to Be Completed by October

The Southern Railway's Multi-Disciplinary Training Institute, set to come up in Kollam, is expected to be completed by October this year.
The new centre, spanning 16,500 sq ft, will train officers from all divisions under the Rail Kaushal Vikas Scheme. A three-member committee has been appointed to oversee the construction of the building, which is being developed on railway land opposite Kollam's Upasana Hospital. It is projected to cost Rs 6.47 crore, of which Rs 4 crore has been sanctioned.
