Apex court allows Pune eatery to use 'Burger King' name

THE Supreme Court on Friday stayed a recent Bombay High Court order banning a Pune-based restaurant from using the name 'Burger King' and asked the high court to issue a final order after hearing the parties afresh.
Hearing the petition filed by the Pune firm challenging the high court ban, a bench comprising Justices BV Nagarathna and Satish Chandra Sharma said on Friday, "The impugned order shall remain stayed. However, the Bombay High Court can continue to hear the appeal."
