SIT Misdirected Itself in Ashoka Prof Case: SC

Questioning the line of probe by a Haryana police Special Investigation Team (SIT) into social media posts by Ashoka University professor Ali Khan Mahmudabad on Operation Sindoor, the Supreme Court on Wednesday observed "it had misdirected itself."
The court had ordered the setting up of the SIT to examine if there was anything incriminating in the social media posts by Mahmudabad.
