The bacteria is a clear indicator of severe contamination and poses significant health risks
HEALTH department has confirmed that water supplied by a local drinking water supplier triggered the hepatitis A outbreak in Taliparamba. The lab tests conducted by Kerala Water Authority (KWA) found the presence of E.coli bacteria in the drinking water distributed by Jafar Water Supplies on December 19.
