Why should I get abuse alone, bemoans Gadkari

“WHY should I get the abuse alone” for the poor state of roads, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari asked on Thursday, stressing that the purpose of installing QR-coded signboards with the names and contact details of contractors, officials, and engineers on national highways is to let users know who is specifically responsible for their condition.

“The signboard will let people know who the minister, secretary, or contractor is and what their phone numbers are. Why should I respond on social media? If a road is bad and people are complaining about it on social media, take it seriously. From A to Z in road construction, we need ownership, sincerity, and a positive approach. Roads must be good, and they must stay good,” Gadkari said.
