Expresses concern over increasing maternal deaths, suicide by farmers

BJP MLC, C T Ravi has launched a scathing attack on the state government by accusing it of insensitivity and negligence.

Addressing the media on Friday, he said that the government has become heartless even when maternity deaths are taking place, contractors are committing suicide and farmers also dying in the state.

Referring to the recent maternity deaths in government hospitals, he alleged that the state has turned into a "house of death." He demanded an investigation by a sitting High Court judge to ascertain the cause of the deaths and the person behind so many women.
