CEO Bhanwar Meena says the mela attracted over 1 lakh people in last five days and asks more people to join
The national-level Namma SARAS Mela-2025, which is being held at Sharanabasaveshwara Jatra Maidana (Ground), Kalaburagi from February 24, has attracted over 1 lakh people in the last five days and made a turnover of over Rs 36 lakh, said chief executive officer of Kalaburagi Zilla Panchayat Bhanwar Singh Meena here on Saturday.
The mela made a business of Rs 4.06 lakh on the opening day and it went on increasing to Rs 7.05 lakh on February 25, Rs 7.45 lakh on February 26, Rs 8.07 lakh on February 27 and Rs 9.43 lakh on February 28. It is expected that the turnover will touch Rs 1 crore on March 5, the closing day of the Mela.
