RURAL Development Minister Priyank Kharge, who is also Kalaburagi district in-charge minister and MLA of Chittapur constituency, inaugurated Praja Soudha constructed with an estimated cost of Rs 10 crore at Chittapur on Friday.

He also distributed benefits to 517 beneficiaries under different schemes on the same occasion.
Speaking after the inauguration of the building, Kharge said that the government offices should be people-friendly. Only then will good governance be possible. He said that the buildings that were earlier called Mini Vidhana Soudha are being renamed as Praja Soudha because the administration should be closer to the people. The government belongs to the people and their work should be carried out without any problems, he said.
