Only 6 resigned after Yatnal's expulsion: BJP

REBUTTING the claims of Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal that hundreds of BJP workers who are also Yatnal's supporters have resigned from their posts after the party expelled him, the BJP district president Gurulingappa Angadi has said that he has received only around six resignation letters so far.

"I have contacted eight Mandal presidents or general secretaries of the district, only one Mandal president of Vijayapura city has resigned, and no other president or any office-bearers has put the papers. Whatever is being said by Yatnal's supporters is false," he said.
