KKHS, KKCC&I to push for development of KKR

KALYANA Karnataka Horata Samithi (KKHS) and Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce & Industries (KKCC & I) are prepared to present the facts about the continued backwardness of Kalyana Karnataka Region before the chairman of the High Power Committee for Redressal of Regional Imbalance under economist Prof M Govind Rao during its meeting in Kalaburagi on Thursday.

HHKS President Lakshman Dasti and Hon President Basavaraj Deshmukh in a press conference here on Wednesday said that the KKHS is having full faith about the High Power Committee and believe that it would recommend the government for the development of backward KKR.

The Committee should recommend the government to prepare a separate budget for Kalyana Karnataka Region and should allocate sufficient grants to the region. It should ask the government to take steps for the improvement in
