Kalaburagi traffic police launch drive, collect ₹29,11,500 as penalty

THE Kalaburagi Traffic Police who conducted intensive drive in the city in January to create awareness on traffic rules, have booked 5,106 cases for violating traffic rules and collected a fine of Rs 29,11,500 within a month, said Kalaburagi Police Commissioner Dr Sharanappa S D.
The police booked 437 cases for not producing documents and collected a fine of Rs 2,18,500, 117 cases booked for over speeding and collected a fine of Rs 1,18,000, 99 cases booked for using mobile phones while driving and
