Kalaburagi tops K'taka in Sakala scheme

KALABURAGI district stood first in the State in the performance under Sakala Scheme in August, while it stood second in the disposal of applications under Atalji Janasnehi Kendra Yojane in the same month.
Kalaburagi Deputy Commissioner Fouzia Taranum who spoke to TNIE on Tuesday said that 1,17,044 applications were received from different taluks of Kalaburagi district under Sakala Scheme in August and of them 1,16,567 applications were disposed. Of these 1,16,567 applications, 1,15,160 applications were disposed of in time (98.79%) and weightage of 49.4 percent has been given to the district for in time disposal. 10,181 application
