Kalaburagi officials on their toes over improving SSLC results

WITH the SSLC examination scheduled to be held from March 21 to April 4, Kalaburagi district administration officials have geared up to ensure improvement in the SSLC results.
Kalaburagi district stood in the 34th position in the SSLC-1st Exams held in April-2024 in the state with a passing percentage of 56.76. After two improvement examinations, the pass percentage increased to 74.81. However, the district stood in 'C' category along with Yadgir, Koppal and Raichur districts of the Kalyana Karnataka Region while other districts in the state secured 'B' and 'A' grade after two improvement examinations.
Deputy Director of School Education Suryakant Madani told TNIE on Monday that 47,455 students registered their names for admission to SSLC in 2024-25 and of them 42,691 students remitted the required fees and will be appearing for the SSLC exams this year to be held in 131 exam centres spread across the district.
