Guru Vandana Programme Held in Kalaburagi

JILLA Veerashiva Samaj and Shri Siddhaganga Haleya Vidyarthigala Haagu Hitaishigala Sangha jointly celebrated the 118th Guru Vandana programme of pontiff of Siddhaganga Mutt late Shivakumara Mahasivayogi Swamiji in Kalaburagi on Tuesday.
The organisations distributed fruits and paid an amount of Rs 5,118 to the nandgokul orphanage. The organisations also felicitated progressive farmer Chennaveera Kumbarmatha with Dr Shivakumar Shri Award. Social activist BM Patil Kollur and alumni of the institute of the mutt Basavaraj Hokrani were felicitated with the Sanghasiri award. MLC BG Patil who was to receive Siddaganga Shri Award could not attend the programme. The journalists who received state-level awards in 2024-25 were also felicitated
