THE state government will launch an Employability Assessment Drive for STEM graduates in Kalaburagi under the 'Nipuna Karnataka' Programme, said Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Priyank Kharge, who is also Minister for IT & BT and Kalaburagi district in-charge, here on Tuesday.
Addressing a press conference here, Priyank Kharge said that to address the growing employability gap among graduates in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, the government through the Department of IT/BT and the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation (KSDC) and under the leadership and support of Member of Parliament Radhakrishna Doddamani, is launching a structured, assessment-led model to evaluate and develop job readiness among youth.
