Forum Seeks to Bridge Gap Between Muslims, Lingayats

Lamenting that a section of vested interest has been consistently making efforts to create divisions between Muslims and Lingayats who have been living in harmony for generations, a forum 'Muslim Bandhavya Vedike Karnataka' has been constituted to bridge the gap between Muslims, Lingayats and other religions and to dispel false notions created to divide them.

"With this objective, the Forum was constituted two years ago, and has been working hard in uniting people and breaking all walls that have been created between Muslims and other communities by a section in the society. Our efforts are yielding positive results," said Mushthak Hennabail, Convener of the Forum.
