Farmers demand release of water from Hidkal to Ghataprabha river

FARMERS from the areas surrounding the Hidkal Reservoir and Ghataprabha River of Belagavi district under the banner of Karnataka State Farmers Association and Hasiru Sene urged the authorities to release water to address the severe drinking water crisis for both humans and livestock.
