'Crime capital': Rahul tears into Nitish govt over Patna businessman's murder

TWO days after Gopal Khemka, a Bihar-based businessman associated with the BJP, was shot dead outside his house in Patna, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi slammed the ruling NDA coalition for turning Bihar into the "crime capital of India."
"Today, Bihar lives under the shadow of loot, gunfire and murder. Crime has become the new normal, and the government has completely failed," he posted on X. He also said the government had become utterly ineffective.
The Congress MP warned the people of Bihar against voting in the upcoming Assembly elections for a government "that cannot protect your children", if they want to save Bihar.
