Coast Guard rescues 2 crew from US vessel

THE Indian Coast Guard (ICG) rescued two American crew members in a rescue operation from a U.S. vessel, 'Sea Angel', stranded about 52 nautical miles south-east of Indira Point, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, on July 10, 2025.
THE Indian Army has launched Operation Shiva 2025 to ensure the smooth and secure conduct of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SAJY). The operation is being carried out in close coordination with the Civil Administration and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).
The Army on Friday stated, "This annual high-tempo operation aims to provide a robust security architecture along the Northern and Southern Yatra routes, particularly in light of heightened threat from Pakistan-backed proxies in the aftermath of Operation Sindoor."
