IOCL profit up 57.7% to ₹8,124 cr; signs LNG deal

STATE-owned Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL)'s consolidated net profit is up by 57.7% to ₹8,123.64 crore (attributable to the owners) in the fourth quarter of the financial year ending March 2025.
Net profit was ₹5,148.87 crore for the same period last year.
However, sequentially, the oil marketing company's net profit rose 284% from the ₹2,115.29 crore profit recorded in the preceding quarter. Annual net profit stood at ₹13,597 crore, down 67% from ₹41,729 crore due to falling global crude prices.
