D'Cunha panel submits second interim report on Covid 'scam'

JUSTICE Michael D'Cunha Commission, which probed the alleged irregularities in procurement of medicines and equipment, and deaths due to mismanagement during COVID-19 pandemic under the BJP rule, submitted its second interim report to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah here on Saturday.
The report will be tabled at the next cabinet meeting. The term of the commission has been extended till July 31, and it has to give reports about 28 other districts. Because of the staff shortage, the commission is unlikely to complete its probe and is likely to get its tenure extended further, according to sources.
