Congress Gears Up for Tabling of KLIS Report

WITH the state government preparing to table the Justice PC Ghose Commission's report on alleged irregularities in the construction of the Kaleshwaram project in the Assembly on Sunday, Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy on Saturday made a presentation to ministers and Congress MLAs.
He outlined the findings of the report and, according to sources, also gave suggestions to members on how to raise the issue in the House.
Meanwhile, Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar rejected a request from the BRS to make a presentation on the Kaleshwaram project in the House. The party reportedly sought permission to allow former minister and MLA T Harish Rao to address the Assembly with a presentation.
