INFORMATION Technology and Bio-Technology Minister Priyank Kharge has assured of setting up a flat-floor factory and plug-n-play facility at Hubballi-Dharwad in the upcoming state budget. He also promised to explore the possibility of establishing a nano global capacity centre at the refurbished IT Park in Hubballi.

Speaking after inaugurating a two-day TiECon summit here on Saturday, Kharge admitted that a lot of things needed to be done for the development of North Karnataka and his government has already taken umpteen initiatives in this regard. "Let the coming budget propose anything but I will assure on developing a flat-floor factory and plug-n-play facility in Hubballi to facilitate startups and small-scale IT companies," he announced.
