WASTE can be seen openly dumped near some function halls on the outskirts of the city. Water bottles and other plastic waste like plates, which are harmful to the environment, can be found littered. Owners of such function halls seem to be least bothered to follow the waste management system rules introduced by the Hubballi Dharwad Municipal Corporation (HDMC).
