AFTER women, the Congress aims to target youth in the lead-up to the Delhi assembly election with a new guarantee. In a major pre-election announcement, the party on Sunday promised to give ₹8,500 to every educated unemployed youth for one year under 'Yuva Udaan Yojana' if voted to power in the national capital.
Congress leader Sachin Pilot made the announcement on Sunday at Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee office. "This initiative is more than financial support. It is an investment in the future of Delhi's youth. We aim to provide them with work opportunities in industries aligned with their qualifications," Pilot said.
