HALF-CENTURIES by M Thamarai Selvan (65) and K Aashiq (61 n.o) helped MRC A to defeat Bunts CC by seven wickets in the final of the TNCA Champion of Champions T20 tournament for the U Prabhakar Rao Trophy held at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.
Aashiq and Thamarai added 106 runs in 61 balls for the third wicket. Brief score: Bunts CC 166/8 in 20 ovs (N Sabarinath 38, N Aakaash Sharma 54; P Bhuvaneswaran 3/32) lost to MRC 'A' 168/3 in 17.1 ovs (M Thamarai Selvan 65, K Aashiq 61 n.o).
