SPEAKING at the G20 Foreign Ministers’ meeting on the sidelines of the United Nationals General Assembly (UNGA) on Thursday, External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar called out “double standards” in the global response to conflicts and urged the world to show zero tolerance for terrorism.
“Double standards are clearly in evidence,” Jaishankar said, as he linked the global development crisis to escalating conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, highlighting their devastating impact on the Global South.
