Rahul questions PM’s Israel visit, reiterates demand to scrap US trade agreement

SENIOR Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying more than 24 hours had passed since he challenged the government to withdraw what he termed an “unfair” India-US interim trade agreement, even as the Prime Minister proceeded on an official visit to Israel.
In a post on X in Hindi, Gandhi reiterated his demand that the government scrap the trade arrangement with the United States. He also referred to media reports relating to the “Epstein files”, raising questions in that context about the Prime Minister’s previous visit to Israel.
