Court orders confiscation of ex-forest officer's assets

A court here on Monday ordered to confiscate the assets of Basanta Kumar Pradhan, former deputy director of social forestry, Bhubaneswar, and his wife Swarnalata for amassing disproportionate assets.
The case dates back to 1990 when Vigilance had booked Basanta and his wife Swarnalata for possessing disproportionate assets amounting to ₹6.55 lakh. Ba
