Unemployment rate flat at 6.4% in Oct-Dec

THE unemployment rate in urban areas remained unchanged at 6.4% in the third quarter (October-December) of this fiscal year compared to the previous quarter.
However, on a y-o-y basis, it slightly dipped from 6.5% in the December quarter of FY24 to 6.4%, according to the Periodic Labour Force Survey (PLFS) data released on Tuesday.
