AMID the row over Congress leader Shashi Tharoor's opinion piece in this newspaper hailing the development initiatives of the CPM-led government in Kerala, the Congress' central leadership has summoned senior leaders from the state for consultation.
According to sources, as many as 27 leaders—including Tharoor—have been called for the meeting, which will likely discuss ways to douse the infighting ahead of the crucial local body and assembly elections in the state.
