|January 17, 2025
PRIME Minister Narendra Modi has ushered in 2025 with a series of transformative initiatives, underscoring his vision for a progressive, self-reliant and united India.
These set a remarkable tone for the year, from advancing infrastructure and scientific research to empowering youth and celebrating cultural diversity.
The year for him commenced with a strong focus on farmers' welfare. During the first Cabinet meeting of 2025, the NDA government approved the extension of a one-time special package for Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP), ensuring affordable fertiliser prices.
On January 1, the PM engaged with cultural icons, including singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and chess grandmaster Koneru Humpy, reaffirming his commitment to promoting arts, sports, and other fields.
As per a government note outlining the PM's initiatives from January 1-16, significant milestones were achieved every day.
